One must be careful of differing social and cultural norms when examining bribery. Expectations of when a monetary transactions is appropriate can differ from place to place. Tipping for example, is considered bribery in some countries and societies.
Form of bribery is numerous. For example, a motorist might bribe a police officer not to issue a summon or ticket for speeding. Remember that, giving gifts or presents could lead to bribery because someone that give something in a form of gift to the recipient to make the job done is a kind of bribery. Bribery also take the form of a secret commission, a profit made by an agent in the course of his employment without the knowledge of his or her Principal.

Corruption in the government have been exist for a long time. This situation occurred due to the lack of supervisions from the authorities and bureaucracy. Common case due to bribery in the government is caused by the bureaucracy. Bureaucracy is a system of official rules that an organisation has for doing and people often think that bureaucracy is too complicated. Due to this complicated situation to have a smooth transactions or agreement, ones rather giving a bribery to the government servant or the officials. In Malaysia, this is not a rare case, but its often happened in our society.
Politics
Some of our politicians in Malaysia or other place in the world also giving bribery in order to receive campaign contributions and other payoffs from powerful corporations or individuals when making choices in the interests of those parties, or in anticipation of favorable policies. Nowadays, there are a lot of bribery cases involving our local politicians. In our local news recently, they have highlighted a bribery case involving three politicians. So, as an educated citizens, do we want a leader with a bad disciplines, dignity and moral?
Business
In some cases where the system of law is not implemented, bribes may be a 'good and 'easy' way for them to continue the businesses. For an example, a company have been identified by the customs officials smuggling beers, toys, rice and etc because the company doesn't paid duties and tax. So, in order to continue their business from any losses to the company, bribing the official is the only way to deal with.
Besides three of the above, there are more bribery took place. For example in sport and medical institutions. We as a Malaysian should take this problem seriously because bribery could destroy our nation or maybe the whole world in a matter of time. Thanks to our Malaysia Anti Corruption Commission (MACC), Suruhanjaya Pencegah Rasuah Malaysia(SPRM), that have play a major role in preventing this epidemic.
Our Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi is the main person in taking this problem seriously. His vision and determine to make a truly Malaysian constitutions without bribery is the main factor that brings justice once and for all.
